Mustered my 36 steers from sect[ion] 37 + McDonald p[addock] + branded them. The new brand acted well + made a very good job. Father, Jim + Gil took the steers up to North Block for me + Anstice + I rode forward + continued work at Ohau River fence, making little gate + getting in a few more posts etc. Rain came on + I got wet through - home late as I had to go over to [whare?] after work. Developed 3rd dozen of Hastings photos in evening.
