Anstice, Jim, Gil + I rode up to North Block to cut scrub - Gil left us in the lunch + went of[f] cutting on his own. The rest of us cut the scrub

off the crest of the Upper Ravine Spur for about 8 yards wide - this will give a clear track from the clear land above the Connecting Spur to the Ohau Summit. Another very hot day but managed to survive it.
