Anstice + I drove the 144 head of cattle to Levin sale yards before breakfast. About 9.30am rain started + continued off + on all day – very heavy at times. We sold all the cattle : – very heavy at times. We sold all the cattle : – 16 forward bullocks at £7.11.0 + 28 2 ½ to 3y[ea]r steers at £5.12.0. Higginson, of Koputaroa, bought both lines.
