Gil, Jim, Anstice + I rode up to North Block – two of us carried a coil of barb wire each up to “Ohau Summit”. Went on felling bush = thin wedge-end of hill-top block, finishing all we intend to do this season – we reached a point from 10 to 15 chains north of the junction of the new + old east boundary lines. After others had left, put in couple of hours draining on “Dirty Flat”.
