Father, Uncle Bert + I took the 33 bullocks up to South Block. Jim + Gil dipped 456 of R McDonald’s sheep + then Jim joined us up river. Wonderful grass on S Block + sheep (2-tooth ewes) looking fine. Mustered 385 2-tooths (1 short) + 3 wooly stragglers + brought them home. So wild that we had no trouble at river. Eric Badger stayed the night with us. In evening cycled down to see Maud + had pleasant time – she’s just sweet.
