Kingdon came + drafted 120 fats at 12/- out of the remaining 150 rape lambs also 15 fat wethers at 17/6 + 1 maiden ewe at 17/6 + 5 fat ewes at 14/6. Jim + I plucked 10 dead hoggarts [sic], + Father carted them away + burned them. Got the 100 2nd class Waikanae hoggarts + picked out 24 wasters

also the wooly [sic] Johnson hoggarts + drafted 12 wasters + put the 36 on swedes in CK p[addock] – it is really to [sic] early to do this but condition + deaths of hoggarts forces us.
