Maud’s 23rd birthday. Drenched for second time the wooly [sic] Johnson lambs + put them in Stewart p[addock] where there is good feed. Mustered tops of Waikanae lambs (or hoggarts [sic]) – drafted out 100 worst + put them on good feed in 20 ac[re] p. Developed prints for illu[strated] papers in evening. Dora, Cliff, + Viv went to Wgtn [Wellington] to see HMS "NZ" to-day. Aunt Edie came to stay a few days with us.
