Another fine day. Father, Gil + Jim carted boulders to drinking-trough at lower end of plantation in 20 ac[re] p[addock] to make a solid platform for cattle to stand on while drinking. Worked at CK–Swamp p. fence all day. Two thunder-storms in evening + heavy rain.
