Recognition:
- can have a narrow trunk up to about 2 m tall, but usually much shorter.
- the fronds are translucent.
- the orange-brown sporangia are spread over the underside of the lamina of the frond, rather than being aggregated into sori.
Distribution: in forest more or less throughout Fiji. Also occurs in Vanuatu, New Caledonia, and Samoa.
