Recognition:
- does not form a trunk.
- the sori are on the pinnae margins.
- the lamina of the frond is only slightly hairy (and there are no scales).
- the large fronds are finely-divided.
Distribution: in Fiji, common in open areas. Widespread elsewhere in the Pacific, including Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, New Caledonia, and Samoa.
