Joe Buchanan's PhD research specimens

Donation of 160 specimens of Cystophora and Carpophyllum brown algae (seaweeds), collected from around New Zealand.  These specimens voucher Joe Buchanan’s PhD research at Victoria University of Wellington.  Joe studied the morphology and genetics of these specimens in his investigation of the species boundaries within Cystophora and Carpophyllum.
