Overview
The fossil plants dated to the Eocene and Oligocene periods have been collected from just a few places in New Zealand.
The specimens from Millerton and Wangapeka are probably from the Brunner Coal Measures - the Eocene, Bortonian-Runangan (43-35Mya)
