Overview
Te Papa holds 37 specimens of fossil plants collected from the Kakahu area, South Canterbury. These were collected by Jean-Claude Stahl in 2023 and were collected to fill a gap in the Te Papa plant fossil collections - Paleocene epoch 66 - 56 Mya.
