Nancy 7 years old to-day, + Maud gave her + Clyde a party. This was to have been held in the

Waiopehu Reserve but owing to the rain last night + the showers to-day it was decided to have it in the big spare room at Cheslyn Rise. The guests were Nancy’s school friends, Enid Denton, Miss Hitchcock + the two Hobson girls. I took two 1/2pl. photos (1) + (2) of group of those present. During the afternoon, McFarlane came up in his lorry to lift Father’s last load of 28 bales of wool – 1/2pl. photos (3) + (4) Lorry loaded, end view and side view. Drove to Levin in evening for stores.
