A hot sunny day. Rode to Levin to post letters. At 10 am I drove Maud, Nancy + Clyde over to Cheslyn Rise to Marjorie’s wedding, Rev[erend] Frost conducted the ceremony which was performed in the hall. The guests were Aunts Edith + Kate, Amy + Agnes Denton, Miss Morrison, Ivy, Uncle Bert, Miss Bowles, Ronald + Dora, Mrs. Frost + self + family. Marjorie looked very nice indeed. Clif was best man + Miss Brassell, bridesmaid. After the ceremony we all adjourned to the west lawn + I took some

photos: (1) ½ pl[ate] Bride + Bridegroom (2) ½ pl. Group, bridal party + guests (3) ½ pl. ditto with self in photo (4) ¼ pl. Bride + Bridegroom. We partook of the wedding breakfast in dining [?] room + a few toasts were proposed. Other photos were: (5) The newlyweds in car. (6) Uncle Bert + Agnes in car. (7) Vivian + Enid Denton. (8) Best man + bridesmaid. (9) Maud, Nancy, Clyde + Self (snapped by Amy D.) All these were ¼ plates. (10) ½ pl. Group scattered along East Lawn. All the guests except Rev. + Mrs. Frost stayed to dinner, the number at table being 24. Later in pm we all walked over to Gravel-pit p[addock] + inspected George + Marjorie’s 2-roomed cottage + vegetable garden. Home to tea.
