Another brilliant day. Rode up to Sonoma – met Mr. W. Read + accompanied by Tom + Stan Read we traversed + decided on proposed bdy [boundary] fence line on steep hillside above Stuckey’s Side – Mr. Read is to erect this portion of our mutual bdy. as a contra to the portion of bdy. fence already erected by me. Home to dinner. ½ pl[ate] photo of Maud, Winnie, Ralph, Betty, Clyde + Nancy against pine hedge near path to hollow garden. Drove Ralph + family down to 3.10 pm train en route for Ch.Ch. [Christchurch]
