Overview
The 'Muka Gallery'archive covers a period of twenty-five yearssince the studio started operating in 1984.
During thistime the studiomade a significant contribution to New Zealand art and culture through the following activities:
- Provision of an opportunity for both New Zealand and international artists to experiment with a printmaking medium.
- Promotion of New Zealand artists internationally through exhibitions.
- Introduction of children to art in the form of an affordable medium through the Youth Print programme.
This series contains the artist's correspondence files which include correspondence, proposals, and initial designs for prints.
