This series consists of the draft and final published manuscript for the 'Silver Book' including photographic inserts, text etc.
The book was published by The Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa in November 1995.
Much of the preliminary research was undertaken by Winsome Shepherd and her husband R.H. Shepherd with assistance at a latter date from Michael Fitzgerald, History Curator.
