Overview
Sheepskin ugg boots were developed on the West Coast of Australia in the 1960s. Their name comes from their apparent ugliness. Here each boot is trimmed with Tibetan lambswool fleece down the centre back.
Sabatini White label
The boots are part of an outfit that was in 2002 'Peace' collection by Sabatini White. The collection was shown at the first L'Oreal New Zealand fashion week held in Auckland 23-26 October 2001. The Sabatini White label was established in the 1990s. It is one of the labels associated with the Auckland-based Sonny Elegant Knitwear, a brand that was established in the 1950s.
