Thesis design submitted by S.W. Toomath for the degree of bachelor of architecture of the University of New Zealand [not built]. Layout for upper level, B.C. Gallery and lower level A.D. Gallery. "Circulation the visitor is guided by the overall form of the Gallery a diagram at 'A' informs him that the exhibition commences on the upper floor and that, taking the Gallery as a whole, on the upper level - Western art is around the outside, open to the main hall on one side. Easter art is placed in the centre. On the lover level - wester art is around the outside, out in the higher open hall, Eastern art is placed in the centre beneath the lower ceiling".
