Thesis design submitted by S.W. Toomath for the degree of bachelor of architecture of the University of New Zealand [not built]. Layout for upper level, B.C. Gallery and lower level A.D. Gallery. See general explanation page 65 of the Thesis Report. "Circulation the visitor is guided by the overall form of the Gallery a diagram at 'A' informs him that the exhibition commences on the upper floor and that, taking the Gallery as a whole, on the upper level - Western art is around the outside, open to the main hall on one side. Easter art is placed in the centre. On the lover level - wester art is around the outside, out in the higher open hall, Eastern art is placed in the centre beneath the lower ceiling".
