Oral History Collection

Collection consists of interviews produced (mainly) by National Art Gallery staff (and most often by Tony Mackle) with artists, exhibitors and those with involvement in the arts community. 

There are also records of several art related conferences, seminars and discussions. 

Most of the material included in this series is unique; although there are some copies of recorded speeches etc. gathered from radio and elsewhere. 

Due to the fragile nature of many of the recordings many have been copied onto CD (see MU000466 and individual item descriptions).
