Overview
This dress, designed by Dorothy Cameron, was never intended for a wedding. Ms Cameron took six months to spin the wool and one month to construct the dress, creating it purely out of an interest in wool. It was subsequently shown at the National Wool Festival.
It is a full-length cream merino wool wedding dress, beautifully crocheted, in a slim-line style with long sleeves. It also has a matching sleeveless, full-length cream satin slip.
