Un des plus charmants petits arbustes de la flore de la Nouvelle-Zélande. Il a généralement de 1.80 à 3 mètres de haut. Les fleurs blanches ou légèrement teintées de rose sont disposées en corymbes bien fleuris, à l’extrémité des branches. Les feuilles et les fleurs ont une odeur aromatique mais agréable, et donneraient probablement une huile essentielle utilisable en parfumerie. On trouve cette plante dans la partie Nord du district provincial d’Auckland (Cheeseman). Elle fleurit en novembre. Whangarei.
[One of the most charming little shrubs in the New Zealand Flora. It is usually from 6 to 12 ft. in height, and has a singularly neat and graceful habit of growth. The flowers are white, or white tinged with pink, and are arranged in many-flowered corymbs terminating the branches. Both foliage and flowers have a strong, but pleasant, aromatic smell, and would probably yield an essential oil valuable for perfumery purposes. It is confined to the northern portions of the Auckalnd Provincial District. (Cheeseman). It flowers in November. Whangarei.]*
