LIBERTIA IXIOIDES, Sprengel.
Not uncommon throughout the whole of the Islands. Growing in damp, swampy places. Leaves sometimes stiff, rigid, and of a bright yellow colour, and also grassy, as in the plate. Flowers very tender and fugacious, of the purest white. (Cheeseman). It flowers in November and December. Thames.
