Overview
The accompanying text reads: The spectator stands with his back to the sea, in the garden of the Company's agent. There is only an open Roadstead here, and the colonists are essentially agricultural. Surf-boats, however, and excellent moorings, provided by the Company, facilitate the landing of passengers and goods. Mount Egmont is distant about fifteen miles.
