Overview

A spiral bound rectangular workbook.  It has a black plastic front cover with Art Spectrum Artists’ Visual Diary printed in the centre on the top half of the cover.  There is a light green removal sticker on the upper right corner of the front cover with the words Art Spectrum Visual diary.  The back cover is made of cardboard.The fashion workbook shows design ideas for garments.  It contains hand drawn sketches, numerous fabric swatches adhered to pages, handwritten design notes, lists and business notes. The workbook dates from circa 1997 and mentions the fashion collections Urban Progression (Winter 1998) and Starfish Summer - possibly the fashion collection Liberation (Summer 1997-1998), as well as noting some “design rules” relating to Starfish clothing.
