Overview
Items relating to the creation, marketing and distribution/sale of the fashion collection. The following text is drawn from items in the file: Joyride puts some fund and fantasy into public transport and promotes its use as a way of minimising the need for cars and new roading systems. This supports Starfish’s efforts to stop the bypass road from going through the Te Aro district, a historic and creative quarter of Wellington. The collection includes wearable classic glamour and new look favourites, featuring velvet trims, vintage like scarves, textural lace and rouching. Quality merinos in different weights and textures create warm yet light garments. Colour is strong with new shades of emerald green and diesel blue complimented by fire orange and hot pink. Joyride features the artwork of Wellington artist Rebecca ter Borg.
The fashion collection includes: Hot X Cami, Hibernation, Cuba Cami and Top and Cardy, Carriage Cami and Top, Untamed Tee and Dress, Deluxe Drape Tee, Exotic Shoulderless, Shoulderless, Southerly Sweater, Winter St. Halta and Shirt and Skirt and Dress, Holloway Halta, Parisian Top and Dress, Long Johnette, Star Pass Tee, Joy Ride Tee, Persian Silk Halta, Tatler Tee, Bon Bon Bodice and Skirt and Frock, Bertie’s Blazer, Mongolian Mt.
