Geological reports

These records consist of geological reports from geologists working for James Hector, including S.H. Cox, James Park and A. McKay.

Initially most reports were registered into the 19th century filing system and evidence suggests that they were removed from the main system and stored together probably for ease of access, after consideration it was decided that as it is most likely the removal of the geological reports occurred for a purpose at the time that this arrangement will remain in place.
