Overview
The Muka Youth Print project started in 1987 as a way of acquainting young people with contemporary art. Contributors to the project include New Zealand and International artists. The artists produce small scale lithographs (100 x 200mm) for sale to young people aged 5-18 in exhibitions where adults are excluded. The project has now been extended into Europe. The initial release price is set at a low level to encourage young people to purchase works. The works in the archive are predominantly printer's proofs.
