Overview
This small photograph album belonged to Jean Hannan, a Scottish woman who worked in New Zealand as a ladies' maid for Mrs Ella Elgar during the 1930s and early 1940s. The album contains eleven snapshots of Jean and friends, of 1940 Centenary Exhibition buildings in Wellington, and general New Zealand scenery. The album may have been assembled on Jean's return to Scotland, as it is the product of a Scottish chemist firm.
