Overview
Photographic prints made by a formula introduced in the late 1800s. Used in the 1920s-1950s to reproduce architectural, engineering, and mechanical drawings. Mirror image white lines on a dark brown or sepia background were used to make blue or black line prints. Revived in mid-1960s as an alternative photographic process.
