Flexible material made by bonding together two or more layers of materials with adhesive. For resin-impregnated laminate, such as paper or fabric, use "plastic laminate." For thin sheets of layered plastic, use "laminated plastic." Brands of laminate include Formica (TM), Micarta (TM), and Bakelite (TM).
