Overview
Processes for making photographic prints using a bichromate compound which, when exposed to light, causes its colloid binder to harden; unhardened areas are washed or abraded away. Pigments may be incorporated before exposure or during development. Though the expression dichromate is now preferred in chemistry, bichromate remains common usage in photography.
