Small polyhedral objects, usually cubes, that are marked on each face with dots, symbols, or numbers. Many dice are marked on each face distinctively with from one to six dots such that opposite faces add to seven; may also be used for similar cubes marked with other numbers or symbols specially created for gambling or certain other games.
