Used to describe the process of creating or transforming objects, disciplines, locales, or elements of culture according to aspects of the Walt Disney Company's theme parks, merchandise, animation style, or public image. Characteristics include an emphasis on escapism, fantasy, consumerism, virtue, and idealized notions of society.
