Kiribati

Describes works created by the inhabitants of Kiribati Island. Most of the artwork created by the people of the Republic of Kiribati consists of patterns woven into the pandanus-leaf matting. The production of this work is used for sails, clothing, baskets, sitting mats, and sleeping mats.
