Overview

Paper with a crinkled or puckered texture. Creping consists of making small pleats or folds with a blade, a process which imparts stretch, strength, bulk, conformability, and texture similar to that found in fabrics. While there are many industrial and consumer uses for crepe paper, it is most commonly used for decorations.
