Wet day. Drove my shorn seep, 69 Hgts [hoggets]. 1 dry ewe, 13 rams, up to Sonoma + put them on Leighton p[addock] where there is splendid feed. Pulled foxgloves on "1st Burn" (35 mins) till rain drove me home

early. Fine evening so took Maud for walk round the garden.
