Emma Knuckey is a significant New Zealand fashion designer who trained in tailoring in London in the early 1950s before returning to New Zealand to set up her own salon. She acquired a good name nationally for her elegant, well-tailored fashions which were sold through her salon and quality outlets throughout New Zealand during the 1960s and 1970s.
