Overview

This is a good example of a 1920s crazy patchwork quilt created using a wide variety of textiles which reflect the diversity of textiles used in fashion at this time.

It is representative of the types of items handmade by the talented Miss Frances Isabella Broad and her sister Dorothy for the purposes of fund raising during WWI and the period immediately afterwards.
