Horizontal view looking at pavement artist as he rests against the sidewalk barrier behind him. Coming towards him, up the river (Thames?) is a large ship. People can be seen further along the path. Part of the artists chalk inscription on the pavement, that accompanies his drawing, can be seen to his right, 'I thought I heard a penny drop'. This print is a companion of O.006017.
