Portrait of several young women in kapa haka or dance group costume, posed around a piano inside a whare hui (Maori meeting house).
The carvings referred to in the title were to be installed at the Manukorihi Meeting House, Waitara. They were carved by Pine Taiapa, Tom Heberley, Charles Tuarau and Kohi Webster.
