Overview
This swimsuit was worn by Noel Crump when he won a bronze medal in the 100 yards freestyle swimming event at the second British Empire Games held in London in 1934. This was one of only three medals won by the New Zealanders at these games.
The silk suit, which is streamlined in cut, was especially designed for competitive swimming.
