Overview
Example of a Boys Brigade Hat Badge decorative badge. Silver coloured metal badge made of nickel silver. The badge is shaped like a star with a circle in the middle. The circle has 'THE BOYS' BRIGADE' in a thin band around the outside. In the middle of the circle there is a silver 'B B' cut out of the metal. Between the circle and the edge of the star the metal is groved radiating out from the circle. On the back of the badge there is a clasp that consists of two metal loops mounted onto the front of the badge but the copper coloured metal wire 'bobby pin' that threads through both metal loops is missing.
