Overview
A large ornamental lidded porcelain vase on an ormolu stand, made in France, probsbly mid-19th century. . The vase has a blue ["Bleu Beau"] ground. There are two reserves edged with gilding and painted with scenes [ a landscape on one side; a scene depicting a lover, al lady and an onlooker on the other]. The vase has ormolu handles, the porcelain lid is topped with a pineapple-shaped knob in ormolu.
