Overview
This glass perfume bottle with an ornate silver cap was probably dipped into molten green glass in a process known as 'flashing'. The surface would then have been cut to reveal the clear glass underneath. The bottle's elaborate decoration and delicate form suggest the value that would have been attached to its contents.
