Overview
A dining table, made in England about 1690, in walnut veneer on an oak carcass. The table top is secured to the deep table base by four oak turned pins and is lightly inlaid with deep mitred corners and supported by turned inverted cupped trumpet shaped legs with large bun feet. The legs are connected by raised diagonal serpentine strectchers with a large lidded cup shaped finial at the crossing.
