Auckland Island rail eggs collected by Dr Graeme Elliott (Department of Conservation) at Maclaren Bay, Adams Island, Auckland Islands on 22 November 1989.This clutch of two eggs, which was abandoned 5 days after it was found, are the only Auckland Island rail eggs ever seen.
