Bhula Chhania (1870? – 1945?) was born in Sagra Village, Navsari, Gujarat State, India.

He worked in Fiji at some stage. He arrived in Auckland, possibly around 1896-1899, and moved to Wellington, possibly in 1905-1906, and lived in Lower Hutt. He worked as a farm labourer, becoming a fruiterer, hawker and small business owner.

He married Mortli Bhula Chhania (her birth date is recorded in her passport as 8 April 1896). She was born in Kasbapore Village, Navsari, Gujarat State, India. She died in Lower Hutt on 21 October 1968.

They had three sons: Bhaga Bhula (born circa 1909, died 20 December 1946, Lower Hutt), Manga Bhula (4 June 1912 – 15 March 1997, Lower Hutt), Lala Bhula (13 May 1919 – 18 April 2012, Auckland).

Bhula Chhania returned to his place of birth in India and died there around 1945.
