Overview
This rectangular wooden box once held a dozen 8oz tins of Cadbury's Cocoa, and the product name is printed on all four sides. The box has no lid, but there is metal bracing across the joins at the top.
According to advertisements printed in the 1890s, Cadbury's 'Absolutely Pure' Cocoa was a 'popular beverage for Breakfast, Luncheon, Tea, and Supper in all seasons.' 'Comforting, strengthening and nourishing,' it was said to be the perfect drink for young and old.
